The Birmingham Foot Clinic supports research and training at a national and international level.

John Malik is an External Examiner to Queen Margaret's College, MSc Podiatric Surgery. He is also a Faculty Board Member with an educational portfolio, as well as being a former head of the Birmingham School of Podiatry and Lecturer.
