In 2000 Suzannah achieved a first class BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry from Birmingham School of Podiatry and was also awarded the Student of the Year prize.

In August 2000 Suzannah commenced employment with Dudley South PCT as a Senior II Podiatrist. She began working in the Department of Podiatric Surgery at Netherton Health Centre in 2002 as a Podiatry House Officer.

Suzannah became a Chief III Podiatrist and team leader for the Dudley area of Podiatrists in 2004 and was promoted to Senior Podiatry House Officer working along side Mr John Malik and Mrs Helen Williams. Her duties in the NHS include providing local anaesthesia to patients under going day case foot surgery, carrying out pre-surgical assessments, dressing clinics and assisting in out patients.

Suzannah is seconded to Birmingham School of Podiatry once a week to supervise and teach students in the clinic and she has also provided lectures to students on local anaesthesia.

Suzannah began working as a first assistant to Mr John Malik at Birmingham Nuffield Hospital in 2005 and her responsibilities include providing local anaesthesia for foot surgery and helping to give post operative recovery advice. She is certified in advanced local anaesthesia of the lower limb.
